As part of restructuring our company, we changed the legal entity from Deuschel & Schüller GbR into Vacay GmbH.
We founded Deuschel & Schüller GbR in 2011 to sell our bachelor thesis, a desktop software for patients with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). We had some customers and used the income to develop a mobile version. This took some time, since we continued with our master studies and gained work experience in the industry. In 2017 we launched the mobile app under the name Morpheus. Morpheus is now being used in several clinics to assist dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) and other types of behaviour therapies used to treat borderline, anxieties, PTSD and other mental illnesses.
By the end of 2018, supported by the hessian funding program LOEWE and thanks to great mentoring by Prof. Dr. Bernhard Humm and Prof. Dr. Martin Bohus, we managed to concentrate on the development of our own products almost full-time. During this process we developed two new products – Status and Skills.
We are looking forward to be able to support our customers full-time from now on. We will be able to develop our products at a higher speed and hopefully become a relevant contributor to improving psychotherapy treatments world wide.
