Vacay GmbH partners with the NodiKs (Network Orientation in Digital Clinical Social Work) project.

The healthcare system – particularly psychiatric and psychotherapeutic services – is heavily overloaded, on the verge to collapse. Vacay GmbH is working on several approaches to help address this challenge.

A new and promising project, in collaboration with the Evangelische Hochschule Freiburg and the Oberberg Clinics, focuses on the support networks of patients. Well-functioning social networks, along with tailored pre- and post-care, can prevent revolving-door effects and relieve pressure on the healthcare system.

As part of the NodiKs project (Network Orientation in Digital Clinical Social Work)Vacay GmbH is developing digital tools that promote social participation and provide targeted support to professionals in the healthcare sector. In close collaboration with the NodiKs team, three core offerings are being developed to provide sustainable support for people experiencing mental health challenges.

Three digital tools, implemented by Vacay GmbH, to enhance connection and support:

  • An intelligent questionnaire for mapping individual support networks;
  • A digital toolbox for professionals and people affected; and
  • A therapist and self-help exchange platform.

Our shared goal: “Digital, tailored, and inclusive support for people with mental health challenges – practice-oriented and sustainable.”

Thank you to #BMBF and #DATIpilot – for your support, your trust, and for making this important initiative possible.
